Whether we’re facilitating a meet, arguing with a loved one, or volunteering with a community group, our ability to collaborate effectively can make the difference between a meaningful outcome and a stalemate. Join NVC Trainer and meditation teacher Oren Jay Sofer for this half-day workshop exploring how our contemplative practice and communication skills can create the conditions for effective collaboration. Through a combination of reflection, small group activities and role plays, you’ll learn to:
- understand the difference between compromise and collaboration
- develop internal capacities to handle obstacles to collaboration
- identify and focus on shared purpose
- maintain togetherness in the face of difference
All are welcome to attend. This workshop is appropriate for all levels of experience in meditation and Nonviolent Communication.
