Eugene-Springfield Nonviolent Communication Community Gathering

The Eugene-Springfield Nonviolent Communication Organizing Team
warmly invites you to join us for a

This free gathering is open to all who are interested in Nonviolent (Compassionate) Communication.

The creator of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Marshall Rosenberg (1934-2015), was born on October 6. So this is a kind of belated birthday celebration of his 85th birthday.

This is an opportunity to share what you are doing, or would like to see happening, with NVC and to meet others who would like to share and practice NVC.

Using Open Space Technology*, you will have the opportunity to offer and/or request presentations on aspects or applications of NVC. (One possible topic: How to have a conversation with a gun rights advocate, a white supremacist, or a person who thinks our borders should be closed to immigrants coming from Mexico or countries further south.)

Please feel free to bring snacks and drinks to share.

Contact person: Gary Baran, email, 541 868-6750.

*"Open Space Technology" (OST) is the name given to a meeting without a predetermined agenda and developed in the late 1980s by Harrison Owen of Maryland, USA. Details about the process can be found on the internet.
