The NVC Players Theater Group
We've been doing some Playback theater and other warm-up/spontaneity exercises to connect with the delightful expressiveness we all have inside, as well as to tune-up for the extemporaneous creativity and connectedness that Playback thrives on. And, of course, continuing to brainstorm on how Playback and NVC can be integrated, especially in a performance situation. We're also giving ourselves ample time to simply "let it out" and let it flow as we get more acquainted with this theater form, ourselves and each other all at the same time. Anyone who resonates with this, or is simply curious to check it out, is welcome.
Meetings Monday evenings, 7:15-9:15, Lintton Community Center, Hwy 30 Portland
Please call or email June ahead of time (last minute is just fine if that's how it happens) at 360-573-2209 (Vancouver) to get a bit more of an orientation (if you wish). The Muse is alive and well and expressing heartily.

NVC Gem of the Week
Would you like to have a regular little dose of NVC?
Each week I send out a short article that highlights a particular skill or concept in NVC and how to integrate into your daily life.
One reader said this, “I've been meaning to tell you how much I appreciate that you take the time to write these little "gems" every week or so. I always read them and I learn something from the experience. It meets my need for being a better communicator. You're insights feel right on the mark, and as I'll bet you hear often, feel as if you've written them just for me. I'm grateful to you for taking the time to put them together and appreciate your gift of expression.” –David Romanetti, Portland, OR Go to my website to access archives and to sign up www.wiseheartpdx.org
