Stuart has been teaching conflict resolution skills for nearly 15 years; It wasn’t until he began practicing and teaching Nonviolent Communication ten years ago that he decided that mediation was his life path. Stuart helps coordinate the neighborhood and family mediation programs at Resolutions Northwest, and is in private practice as a Family and Divorce Mediator in Portland, OR with Progressive Mediation. He has 700 hours of training, led dozens of workshops/practice groups, and co-founded a statewide organization to support people in learning and practicing Nonviolent Communication.
